The name Snape might come from the Old Norse for an area of boggy, uncultivated land, but the village today is anything but a damp squib! Ideally located between the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors and with some of Yorkshire’s finest countryside on the doorstep, we’re always happy to be in the area, whether that’s helping out a resident with a removals task, or enjoying a wander around the lovely grounds of Thorp Perrow when we have some time off.
